Nanny in Kelowna, British Columbia

Hi my name is Carly, I live in Melbourne Australia and I'm currently completing my final year of school and hoping to travel to Canada to work as a nanny starting early 2018 (job searching early). During my studies I have worked various jobs including running children's parties at a trampoline centre, cleaning and hospitality at hotels and restaurants and babysitting for many different families where I live. My experience enables me to help out around the house with food preparation and cleaning duties plus I also have completed my first aid course twice in the previous 5 years. Travelling is something that I value very much and I cannot wait to add to my 'list of places I've been' in years to come. My older sister had an amazing experience working as a nanny in Europe a few years ago which created my dream of working with kids overseas after completing school as I would love to visit Canada and really enjoy working with kids as well! All of my previous casual jobs during high school have involved working with kids which I personally thrive from as I love to make an impact on children's lives and nothing beats putting a smile on a young kids face! I have heard many great things about Canadians from my best friend who spent a year on exchange in 2015 and I think that it would be a great experience for both your family and myself to work together as we can learn about each other's home country and hopefully one day you may come visit Australia! Although I have not worked as a nanny yet, I have experience in both babysitting and working in children's play centres which have provided me with many valuable skills and I am a keen learner! I believe I'm a very confident communicator who is always up for a challenge and to grow my skills and would be a very positive addition to your family. I love a good adventure and cannot explain my excitement to live in Canada and see snow for the first time in my life! I would be more than happy to do fun activities and explore with your children as well as supervising study for the school kids. Although I won't be available until mid February 2018 I thought I should start having a look early, I hope to hear from you and can't wait to experience Canada! :)
