Nanny Job in London, Ontario

We are looking for a nanny with experience and good references for 3 children: 8 months, 3.5 and 6. We are hoping for a long term relationship, versus just a summer caregiver. We are healthcare professionals who work busy hours so flexibility is an asset. Hours will be approximately 40 per week and may vary. First aid, vulnerable sector check, and non smoking status non-negotiable, and we require routine vaccines to be up to date including flu/initial covid series. We would like someone whose primary focus is playing with and teaching/nurturing our children, but who would be comfortable keeping things tidy and assisting with dinner prep and groceries. Creativity is an asset. Our older son will need bus drop off and pickup daily for school, and the younger attends daycare but also requires pickup and dropoff, and healthy snacks. The baby does not love a bottle or naps without mommy, so the successful candidate would need to be up for this challenge and have experience with infants. Baby is very sweet and otherwise an easy personality - loves baby dropins, library, music class, etc. We want someone caring for her to have a loving demeanor, correct behaviour kindly and make our kids and us feel safe. We are not currently interested in live-in or sponsoring someone who is not living locally. Our previous wonderful nanny is unable to help us anymore for health reasons, but we would love to hire someone who would be with us for many years if it’s a mutual fit!
