Nanny Job in Saint Thomas, Ontario

We are looking for a full time out going, positive focus, high energy, bubbly personality to keep up with our 2 busy boys! (Age 2 and 4) Hours are from Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Walking Age(4 )JK to bus stop for 8:20am and pick up from bus stop at 3:40pm. During the day to engage our 2 year old in active play outside, inside and in community at play centre, park, library etc. Other requirement entail. • 5 days a week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm All STAT holidays off • Post secondary education (CYW, ECE, Recreation Therapy, Degree, Diploma) • Pay based on ability and experience (range $12-15 an hour) • Housekeeping (basically what any mom needs to do to keep a house in order, we do have help with housecleaning 2 x a month so this is really limited to light house work) • Cooking (knowledge of food safety, ability to cook and prepare food joyfully) position includes family meal preparation a minimum of 3 times per week • Childcare (be energetic, friendly, give consistent and firm instruction, have a love of the outdoors, rain or shine, warm or cold) • Running errands occasionally • Help with organizing and tidying • Family laundry Requirements: • Excellent references and police check • Have your own transportation • Be in good health • Lots of experience with children of all ages, especially young children • Must be passionate and positive about homemaking and childcare • Have strong moral values (we are a Christian family with strong faith and commitment to raising our children with these values, honesty and integrity are a must) • Flexible, adaptable, be detail oriented and able to follow instructions well, this is an essential skill for our home • Gentle and kind, level headed in all situations Assets: • First aid training (we would be willing to share cost of a course for the right person)
