Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

To my future employers, Hi there! My name is Marisa Vastani, I am 24 and am a former Humber graduate from the Early Childhood Education diploma program; I graduated in June 2018. I have been registered with the College of ECE's since November 2018 have remained in good standing since. My experience/work with children includes working at The Childhood Experience Summer Day Camp, running a 6 week program as a senior counsellor and director position for 5 years. While at Humber, I gained experience working in childcare centres such as the toddler room at Network Childcare Centre, the preschool room at Windermere Kids Inc. My most recent experiences from Humber include working in the kindergarten room at Rosethorn public school as well as Blacksmith Public school as a student ECE. My co-op experiences were unpaid work, however, I gained a wealth of knowledge about education in the early years and working with such a vulnerable youth. I am very passionate about working with children and always have been. My future goal is to one day work as an RECE in a kindergarten classroom. After graduation, I was offered a position at Gateway Daycare Centre and worked there from January 2019 - August 2020. I was the School Age Room Teacher and Assistant Supervisor, as well as an Infant Room teacher during the day when the kids were at school. I was then offered a job at a different child care centre (which is my current job) located in the TDSB; which i also work for on my lunch break. I also had the pleasure of working in the Preschool Room from April-July, since my classroom will not resume until September, when the kids go back to school. I am more than happy to gain more experience with children in the early years as a nanny or sitter, as this would be a great opportunity to gain more experience within the field. I am very passionate, responsible, warm, patient and energetic; I am looking to apply everything I learned into what I do. I am available for summer employment only, as of July 5th - August 28th 2021. Note: I am fully vaccinated / up-to-date with all my shots (eg: TB, Hepatitis, etc), First Aid/CPR certified and have an updated Police Record Check, and am also fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
