As I said before, I am a licensed Early Childhood Educator, with specialties and diplomas for working with infants, toddlers and children with special needs. My passion is working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families, and this shines through in my professionalism, enthusiasm, and friendly and outgoing nature. My own background as a dance teacher and cheerleading coach has developed my skills in being organized, always pre-planning activities, yet being flexible and taking advantage of those “teachable moments”. After five years working in the Early Childhood field, I became an elementary school teacher in the Surrey school district. Currently, I teach part time, therefore, I am available in the evenings and on the weekends, during Spring Break and Summer vacation. I am also working towards earning my Masters degree through SFU in education. I have been working with children for many, many years.
