As a Recreation Therapist/Life-Skills Instructor whose career has led her to daycare centres, before and after school program and Long-term Care Centres, I has worked with clients from a diverse demographic. I feel that my passion and experience as a caring professional who wants to assist my client’s achieve their goals, no matter the setting or the dream, would make me a valuable asset in encouraging, motivating and supporting your loved one. I hold many fitness certifications, as well as being a Certified Gentle Persuasive Approach Coach for front-line workers working with individuals with dementia. I have recently completed my two-step TB test and police check. After having my daughter I left my position as a Program Manager in a Long-term Care Centre to stay at home with her, she is now in daycare as I have really missed my career of being in service in the community to those who need it. As a Recreation Therapist I have worked in Before and After School settings, group homes and daycare facilities, carefully planning activities that help to develop children's creative, emotional, social, physical and intellectual skills.
