As a graduate of Algonquin College\'s Early Childhood Education program and Carleton University\'s Child Studies program I have learnt that there is no field more vital than the field of advocating for children and their families. I bring a deep understanding of children\'s development and a respect for the importance of play based learning to my work. As a graduate of Algonquin's Early Childhood Education Program and Carleton University's Child Studies Program, I bring a deep understanding of children's development to my program planning with children. I am an avid believer in emergent curriculum, meaning that I let the children's interests guide my plans as opposed to imposing my interests upon them. My philosophy of education when it comes to working with children is to always make it my top priority to build the self esteem of the children I work with. Additionally, it is so important to me to stay connected to the resources available in the Ottawa Community so I can share these resources with the families I work with. I have experience working with infants from child care centers in Westboro and The Glebe. I also have extensive experience working with kinders and school agers.
