Nanny in Bedford, Nova Scotia

Dear family. Thanks for your interest in my profile. My name is Yudi Monroy, I am 32 years old and I am from Colombia. Currently, I live in Bedford/ NS as an international graduate student. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and English language and I have worked as a teacher for more than 5 years, my experience has been with diverse population such as newborns, babies, toddlers, kids, teenagers and adults. These experiences have been meaningful for my personal and professional growth. Regarding my family, my mom lives in Bogota and my younger brother Alejandro is a teacher as well. My childhood was fantastic, I grew up in a big city and my parents taught me to respect and help people from different cities or countries due to Bogota is a multicultural place. Apart from that, during my spare time I enjoy traveling with my husband as a backpacker, meeting with new people, cultures and trying different kinds of food. Furthermore, I am searching for a full or part time job, I will be starting my graduate program in Winter 2024 and I am available since January 15th. My classes take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. On weekends I am free and flexible with evening schedule. I would like to continue living an immersion experience and learning several things about Canadian culture I believe that it is a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and new experiences. I have had experience caring newborns, including my baby. In 2022 I took care a cute pair of twins in West bedford for almost 3 months, I enjoyed a lot this job. Additionally, I had a short and amazing experience as an Au pair in the USA with a beautiful family, my host kids Diana and Andres. In my homecountry, I took care a neighbor's son :Thomas , for one year since he was six months, I know how the babies' routine is, I am pretty careful with their food, alert with their diaper change ,willing to spend time playing together. I consider myself as an excellent nanny. As you know, I am a teacher and I am also a happy mom, so I have the ability to deal with children, therefore I feel confident and safe in order to assume different challenges and solve them as a professional person. I know how important it is to provide them individual attention and I will be happy to spend time with them. In addition, I am a diligent, creative and good listener person who is always motivated to help. In short, your children's welfare means a lot to me.
