Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi there! I am an experienced nanny and RECE looking for a part-time position (20-30 hours per week) in Toronto. Preferably in the West End, midtown or downtown. I have an abundance of childcare experience working with children of all age groups, as young as 1 week old. In addition to working as a full-time nanny for four different families, I have worked at several childcare centres in infant, preschool and school-age programs. Most recently, I was the lead educator in a kindergarten classroom where I facilitated care to 26 children between the age of 3 and 5. As I am an experienced educator, I am adept at facilitating emergent curriculum: a child-centred, play-based approach to curriculum planning which builds on the interests of the child. I enjoy planning fun and challenging activities which build on a child's emergent skills. Some of my passions include: outdoor play, process artwork with open-ended art materials, STEM projects and children's books.
