Nanny Job in Waterloo, Ontario

Hello my name is Niki. My family is looking for someone to help our busy family with two children, ages 5.5 and 2.5. We are looking for help when I go back to teaching in September. Specifically, we are looking for daytime help (8-3) in our home, near Conestoga Mall. The job would involve caring for our 2.5 year old daughter, occasionally picking up our son from school or the bus (depending on schooling situation), doing some light housework (ie. laundry, tidying), helping to make dinner. We are looking for someone who has great experience with children, who can work with our busy schedule to provide support as a third trusted adult in our children's lives. The role may expand once we try things out and see how the fit is. Ideally, the person we are looking for is a great cook and can work with us to help with meal prep. You are flexible and willing to learn, as we are a gluten free household due to celiac. While you are home looking after our daughter you are able to cook and also spend time with her, playing outside or inside depending on weather. You would also need to be ok with two cats, though there isn't any care needed for them while you are here. They are very friendly and love cuddles though!
