Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Looking for caregiver to provide daily before and after school care and occasional respite care in a home setting with 9-year old boy with high functioning special needs. These are the required hours: Before school 6:30 am to 8:30 am M, Tu, W, Th, F. After school M, Tu, W, F - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Th - 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm Plus, full days for non-school weekdays days - 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. This may be adjustable depending if it is a Monday or Friday. This works out to be around 110 hours per month. Optional hours for respite care could be on weekday nights or during the weekend. We are looking for someone who has some experience with special needs children. This position requires someone who is very patient, flexible, adaptable, with lots of energy and enjoys going out on community outings so having your own car and valid license is preferred. As our son has special needs, we required a Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check to be supplied if you are selected. Some meal prep and light housekeeping would be required. Non-smoker please.
