Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello nannies! We are searching for a full-time (36 hours ), live-out nanny for our two children starting in January 2017. Hours would be 6:30-3:30 Tuesday to Friday at our home in North Vancouver (central Lonsdale). We are open to having a live-in nanny. Our nanny must be mature, responsible, reliable, gentle, caring and have the patience and energy to handle a three and one year old. We are looking for a nanny whose values align with ours. We are an active, healthy and loving family. We spend our time reading, doing crafts, cooking and being outdoors. Our children are our top priority. We would expect that our nanny would give our children the same care and attention that we do. Our ideal nanny would be willing to make a one-year commitment to our family. We are hoping to find a nanny who will be with us for several years. We do not require our nanny to have a drivers licence or vehicle Responsibilities include: - Taking our son to pre-school three days per week (within walking distance - uphill though!) - Preparing meals for our children - Taking our children to community centres, library, parks, etc. - Light house keeping (dishes, vacuuming, folding laundry, etc.) The "musts" - excellent English language skills - reliable and punctual - current proof of negative police record check - valid first aid/CPR Please note that our toddler has allergies to nuts, diary and eggs. Our nanny must be comfortable with having to administer an epi pen in an emergent situation. We would offer $15-$16 per hour plus 3 weeks of paid vacation to start.
