Hello, my name is Kathryn and I am a nanny looking for a summer job in Vancouver. I love working with kids and I have much experience in various educational environments with school-aged children. I am currently studying Painting in Toronto, ON, and I hold a B.A. in Psychology. I plan on pursuing a career working with children as an educator or an art therapist. I am a fun-loving, energetic person and I promote a healthy, active lifestyle for kids. I love being outdoors, playing sports, discovering new games, and learning about nature. I am also an artist and I have worked as an art-teacher for children. I love making arts and crafts and working with all kinds of materials. I love to cook and am very comfortable in the kitchen. I believe in healthy eating and I have tons of nutritional meal and snack ideas. I would also be happy to take on cleaning and household duties. My childcare experience includes: - 5 years of babysitting - being an Art Instructor for children's classes, workshops and birthday parties at 4Cats Art Studio - an Internship at Action Potential Lab, an Art and Science Lab for kids in Toronto, ON, where I led classes and camps - being a YMCA day camp counsellor, organizing and supervising indoor and outdoor activities for kids aged 5 to 12 - 3 years of volunteering at the Halifax public library as a reeding support tutor for school aged children I have wide open availability for summer 2019, starting in mid-June.
