Hi there, My name is Georgia Campbell. I am a fourth year Therapeutic Recreation student currently finishing my degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am looking for full time short term or Summer employment and would be available to start as soon as the beginning of May! After this Summer I can work flexibly to meet the needs of your family. For the past 6 Summers, I have worked at Camp Hurontario- an all-boys canoeing camp. During this time, I have cared for campers ranging in ages from 5-15. I also have previous baby-sitting experience, looking after both girls and boys. In the past I have completed a baby sitting training course, first aid and CPR-C course, and swimming lessons up to Rookie Star. I consider myself to be an extremely caring, kind, patient, and active person. While babysitting, I love to introduce new crafts and activities to the weekly mix, as well as go on day trips/outings. I also know the importance of keeping kids active with reading and writing, and like to incorporate these activities throughout the week. My favourite thing to do with the children I babysit is incorporate aspects of my childhood, which included lots of cooking, soccer, swimming, and make-believe games and then meshing them together with what the children like to do.
