My name is Sharmila Katuwal. I am from Bhojpur, Nepal. But i have been living in Kathmandu since 2012. I am 27 years old. I have completed my bachelor’s degree. I have my father, mother, younger sister and younger brother in my family. I am interested in reading books. I am also good at studying. My other hobbies include listening to music, trying different cuisines, making new friends and travelling to new places enjoying with friends. I am a fun loving person. I am friendly and kind to others and want to keep very smooth relationship with whomever I meet. I am always ready to help the needy one. Also, I am a kind of person who likes to take my responsibilities sincerely and faithfully. I love kids and love to see them being happy and watch them grow as a better person having good traits. I think I am qualified to be an au pair because I have that love and passion for children that is very important in this job. Similarly, I have few childcare experiences which had helped me to know and understand kids well, know their likes and dislikes and also their behavioral patterns. I believe in creating warm and smooth relationship and keep people satisfied through my work. I would like to describe a little bit about my family. As I have mentioned earlier, I live in a family of 5 including me. I have father, mother, one younger sister and one younger brother. We are a typical Asian family. We live in itahari sunsari which is the sunsari distric . My father is teaching in MA...... School..... i have much knowledge about children. My mother is a housewife. She is always busy in taking care of her family. She prepares healthy and tasty food for us like any other mother does. As a Nepali family, we live together and never get separated from a family. We are always united and share everything. We celebrate our happiness together and also get across every difficulty together. We take care of each other, take care of each other’s likes and dislikes, respect the elders and love the younger ones. We live happily as a family. I have always believed that I can make a good caregiver. As I have already mentioned before, I love children which is the most important trait to be a good caregiver. I am also a playful and active person who can keep a child involved in creative activities. I am also capable of taking my responsibilities sincerely so that it can help building trust and mutual understanding with the parents. Similarly I have had 3 years childcare experiences which helped me to learn a lot about children and caregiving. Besides, I am sensitive to the children’s needs and put their wants and wishes first to make them happy. I will give my 100% to perform my job and I will be very conscious and sincere with my jobs and responsibilities.
