Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a professional couple with our first child arriving in December. We require a live-out nanny who can live in for 3 to 4 days, about 7 or 8 times a year (including about 2 or 3 weekends). Good conversational English, at least 1 year Canadian experience and excellent references are a must. We would like our nanny to start with us in mid-November. The primary role for our nanny will be child care during the day while we are at work. When our baby is old enough we hope to send him to part-time day care or nursery school. We also expect daily tidying up and light maintenance-cleaning including dishes/dishwasher, vacuuming/mopping the main floor, making beds and keeping frequently used bathrooms clean (we will maintain a regular cleaning service as well). Laundry will also have to be done. We are looking for full dinner made about twice per week, and light dinner prep about twice per week. Our nanny will have a large private room with full bathroom in a finished basement that she can use when living in. We are located in Etobicoke in an area with good TTC access. We are an easy-going couple with a large extended family and circle of friends who prefer to keep our home welcoming and lively.
