I am a highly qualified, loving, and nurturing childcare provider who has been caring for children (from infants to school-age) for over 17 years. Moreover, I am an aspiring children’s book author who has provided both tutoring and home-schooling in various subjects. I can speak basic French and am patient, loving and will quickly put both you and your children at ease. A big kid-at-heart, that's who I am, and have been referred to as both Betty Crocker and Mary Poppins. I'm curious, creative, kind and have a love for words. These are traits that I will encourage and foster in your children. I have had the good fortune to have travelled extensively, and have even received some of my schooling in Europe. I attended McGill University in Montreal where I earned a BA in Sociology. While there, I was very active in campus life, and amongst other things helped to start volunteer / visiting programs at the Shriner’s Hospital for Children as well as the Montreal Neurological Institute. I have an up-to-date First Aid and CPR C and have undergone a police check with the vulnerable sector screening. I available on a part-time, occasional basis. I can do some overnights, and am also open to vacation nannying.
