Hello my name is Melanie, I am a very trustworthy and reliable young woman and my main goal is too put a smile on any child’s face that comes across me. I’m looking for an opportunity to build a trusting and fun relationship with your little ones. I’m a very outgoing young woman who loves to spend time with kids. I one day hope to go to university and get an education for being an elementary school teacher. I about two years ago travelled to south east Asia for 3 months and fell in love with the children there. The culture and way they are raised is so different from here it is fascinating to have gotten to see that. I have an 11 year old sister, Molly who I spend a lot of time with. As she grew up from when she could walk I worked full-time in the summer at the day care with 7 kids that she went too. Doing many things such as preparation of snacks, organizing daily activities, and taking the kids out for outside time where they had a chance to play and create a good relationship with knowing the importance of nature and how amazing it is learn many things about our earth. I love doing creative things like crafts, colouring, and painting. I am located in Bear Mountain, Langford B.C. but coming to you is never a problem! I’m very good at reading and love reading out loud to kids. I love adventuring the west coast beaches we have on the island and sitting and painting on the beaches. I do swim as well so if your child can swim I am very comfortable taking them swimming. I can cook and I do clean often as well. I am available most of the time with a little bit of notice of when I would be needed if it was a full-time regular thing so I could clear my schedule for it and I would love to sit down have coffee and see how you think I would fit in with your family.
