Nanny in Amherstburg, Ontario

Hello my name is Kaitlyn! I am 28 years old and I love caring and being with children of any age and want to help your family any way I can! Children are a joy to me and I'd love to provide a safe, healthy and uplifting environment. I worked at Serendipity Daycare for several years where I was responsible for the care of children from ages 6 months to 5 years old. I provided group activities, lead indoor and outdoor activities, served snacks, and facilitated reading circle. I was also a before and after-school teacher at Montessori Early Years where I was responsible for the care of children from ages 4 to 13. I provided a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities. I used a variety of teaching techniques including modelling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing. I have also been a nanny to a family that had a 10 year old boy which involved driving the child to and from activities and creating a safe, fun, secure and loving environment for him. Also, every year I am the leader in charge of the music area for the children at my church's vacation bible school. Which involves singing, group participation and silly dancing to engage the children! I am currently looking for a part-time job during the morning/day. I'm a fun and lovable person who loves nature and plays the piano. I'm still a kid at heart and love Disney movies, coloring and playing with children, allowing their imaginations to flourish! I was home-schooled and was therefore allowed the freedom to explore my interests which include Russian history, photography and writing fiction.
