Hello, nice to meet you! My name is Erica, I currently reside in Whitchurch-Stouffville after recently moving from Markham. I’m a skillful 29 year old, who is energetic, patient and well-experienced. I have successfully completed my first year of the Early Childhood Education program at Seneca College. One of my favourite classes would be Child Development; I absolutely love and am fascinated with how children develop physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially. Working with babies and children is my calling. I genuinely enjoy every aspect of working with children; even the dirty diapers and challenging moments! Unfortunately, due to Covid, I had to step away from school as it was not possible to continue with my placement and the program at that time. My goal and dream is to finish the program and become a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Nonetheless, as a result of the pandemic and its effects, I have had to focus on working until the time is right to finish my last two semesters. I have helped some families on a short-term basis and worked at Winners retail store during this time. My hope is to be able to make being a nanny and helping families my primary job once again. I am fully certified in First Aid/CPR level C, have an up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Screening and a negative 2-Step TB test. I have helped raise my three nephews and have been enjoying my time with my first niece who is preschool age. I have volunteered at daycares and assistance for families with children who have exceptionalities. I can’t wait to meet and help your family! Location: I’m located on the East side of Whitchurch-Stouffville off Hoover Park. I own a clean, well maintained vehicle with a class G licence. My services: I’m comfortable with light household chores, laundry, errands, pet care, Mother’s Helper, transportation of children and of course supervising children. My availability: I would be able to start work at the beginning of May 2024. I am flexible for when it comes to your families needs and hours, however, I am looking for 25-40 hours a week, long-term.
