Nanny in Barrie, Ontario

Hi Families, With plenty of childcare experience and a more recent (2021) interest in Postpartum care (certified with ProDoula!), I’ve taken to Canadian Nannies to find some new families who may need support. I’ve recently moved to the Barrie area and I’m looking to find a family who’s looking for part/full time support OR several families who are looking for more occasional help. I can help parents who are in the newborn phase as they adjust to a different lifestyle, fragmented sleep and the demands of having a new baby. I can assist with everything in the newborn phase including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques. I can offer reassurance when necessary and together we can process your birth experience. I'm happy to assist with light household duties when time permits. Loading and unloading the dishwasher, sweeping/vacuuming, taking the garbage out... I love finding out exactly what my client needs that day and doing my best to get that done. As far as the older kids go... there's plenty I can assist families with. First and foremost, safety is my top priority. I can prepare nutritious snacks while promoting healthy eating habits. I'll also engage your child in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their cognitive, physical and social development. I'm always maintaining an open line of communication with the parents I work with. I strive to be clear and honest in matters of their child's progression, behavior and any concerns that may arise.
