My name is Mackenzie. I am a nursing student at Trent University in Peterborough Ontario. I have a passion for working with kids, which is why I hope to go into paediatric nursing once I am finished my degree. I have 3 years experience working with kids as young and 6 months as a swimming instructor and 2 years volunteering in the same role before that. I have also been a babysitter for the past 7 years. I believe I will be able to provide supportive and safe care because of my background in teaching swimming lessons and lifeguarding.
