Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

Dear Families, My name is Haley and I'm currently attending my second year at Concordia University in Early Childhood Elementary Education. I'm hoping to find a flexible part-time position with a family in addition to my studies. From September 2022 - April 2023 I am available for 16 hours per week, as well as the occasional availability on weekends. The days that I can provide care switch from the fall to the winter semester so it is ideal that I find a position that is able to provide flexibility around scheduling. Once the school year finishes around April, my schedule will become much more open regarding the hours I am able to offer! About me/ My work experience: I am a very optimistic and self-motivated person that strives to excel in all things that I do. I enjoy challenging myself and pushing myself to limits to achieve all that I can on my own. I love to meet new people and experience new things. I have been working in childcare for the past 10 years which is what led me to pursue a career in Education. My work experiences range from working in a daycare setting as a Childcare Assistant to working with a variety of families as a Nanny. I've worked for families with multiple children, twins and facilitated nanny shares with two separate families. I have also been employed by an agency as an on-call Nanny. The majority of my work experience has been with children as young as newborns to 5 years of age. Most recently, I have been working as an educator at a nature day camp in the forest of Mont Royal with children aged 4 to 12 years old. I am passionate about creating an environment for children to explore, grow and learn in. I engage children in an emotional and empathy-based approach. I genuinely love their company and am excellent at communicating with them. I'm extremely confident in my ability to form and develop bonds with the kids that I work with and am committed to making a positive difference as I fully understand the importance of the role I play in their life.
