Hi There! My name is Miriam, I am a childcare provider who has 9 years of experience working with single families as a nanny, running day homes for a childcare company as a Day Home Director, and doing nursery work as a volunteer in a church nursery. I am a fun, creative, and energetic person. I love to bake, read, draw, paint, make music, go on day trips, and be outside with the children in my care. My biggest strengths are my compassion and warmth, as well as my reliability and responsible nature. I'm an avid reader and a musician, so reading, facilitating hands on learning, and creating music and art with the little ones in my care come naturally to me. I love taking the children in my care on day trips if the weather is permitting, especially ones that have educational value in a fun and experiential setting; such as The Calgary Zoo and Science Center.
