Nanny in Airdrie, Alberta

This Septemeber I will be a third year University student at the University of Calgary. My area of major study is Development Studies, which focuses on international issues and developments. Upon completion of this degree my aspirations are to apply to the Faculty of Education and to become a teacher. I chose the career path of teacher as I think it will be a job that I will enjoy and will get a lot out of through working with children and helping them learn. My aspirations of being a teacher, paired with my love for children is what made me decide to find work in a field with children. Beyond my love for children I also have a love for animals. In my own house I have one dog, a Border Collie, and one cat who I adopted from a shelter. I am completely willing to care for animals along with children, or even on their own. Besides dogs and cats I also am experienced in taking care of horses as well as other smaller farm animals such as goats. While I may not have the most professional experience, this is something I very much want to do and I believe I would be good at it. I am a fast learner and a dedicated worker and I think I would be able to impress you and your family and be of great help. While I have no experience in a professional place with children, I have done a certain amount of babysitting, taking care of children between the ages of 2-6. As well, I have a two and a half year old niece of whom I used to live with and spend very much time around and helping in taking care of her, ranging from tasks such as putting her to bed, feeding, play time and anything that is included with watching a young child for the span of a day. Also, as my boyfriend has nieces and nephews I spend a lot of time with them as well, ranging between the ages of 3-7.
