Nanny in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

The reason I am inspired to work with children, is that children didn\'t get to choose the life that they were born into, whether that be a first world or third world country, with a disability or without, a boy or a girl. Sometimes as parents we focus so hard on what we want our child to be or not to be, that we miss out on what they already are, and that is where I come in. I want to help children, all children, live up the their potential, and possibly teach them a few things along the way. I am a full-time single mother of one 8 year old boy. From 2009 - 2... I was a pat-time live-in nanny for a great family. My duties were but not limited to, Child hygiene, travel, cleaning, craft creativity, reading/teaching aide, family communications, and animal care. For the last year I have been a volunteer with Kids Help Phone and was awarded the Western-Central regions 2014 Volunteer of the year. For the last 7 months I was employed by Boys and Girls Club of Saskatoon, where I was the sole Program Leader of one of their Before and After School Programs. I had a wide array of duties, some of which include; scheduling, hands-on with children, daily report writing, communications with both head office and families, teaching and security.
