Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Caregiver required for full time (July 27 to August 31, 2017)/part time (September onwards) position in Rockcliffe Park. Caregiver will be taking care of one teenager with special needs, age 17.The eldest two siblings are quite self sufficient. Our youngest son has autism and requires ongoing supervision. Your responsibilities with our son include: meeting our son at the school bus, packing a lunch, taking the youngest child to the park, playing outside, reading to the youngest child, etc. Other duties include light housekeeping, emptying the dishwasher, laundry, and preparing supper. The applicant is required to have at least one year of experience, as well as CPR, First Aid and experience with special needs children. Attributes such as reliability, promptness, caring, good judgement, assertiveness and trustworthiness are essential. Hours for the remaining part of the summer are 8 am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. In September 2017, hours will be from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Wages will be compensated based on experience.
