Hi! My name is Emma Finkelstein. I am a registered early childhood educator with special needs training and have recently completed my degree in child development. I have been working with children for 15 years in a variety of roles such as childcare, full time nanny, camp counsellor, dance and swim instructor. I have also done some lifeguarding and keep my first aid and CPR up to date. I have worked with children aged newborn to 14 but prefer working with children under 7 years of age. I have successfully toilet trained many children and have done behaviour consulting/ troubleshooting with parents. In the past, I have performed tasks from diapers and bottles to playing soccer, park outings and Science Centre visits. I have run a home daycare and Kindergym program at a down town community centre. I have experience with multiples and children with special needs. I also have a car and my G drivers licence and have been driving for 10 years. I am comfortable with pets and have some of my own. I love working with children and it has always been very natural to me. I enjoy the silly moments and the growing moments. Children's development and interests have been fascinating to me for a long time. My education and experience has given me the knowledge to support both of these things.
