Nanny Job in North Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a live-out housekeeper / babysitter that will split their weekly work hours between two families. We have joined forces so that we can provide enough weekly work hours. We share similar values and both families go to the same school. We are somewhat flexible with days and hours so we can accommodate a schedule that might need to change each semester. So if you have another part-time job or are a student, this job would be perfect. Ideally, the hours would be 2-6pm for 3 or 4 days a week plus the flexibility to do a bit of evening babysitting here and there. We anticipate hours to average 12-15 per week. Our kids are mostly old enough to look after themselves, but need someone around to walk home from school with them (some days), make snacks and supervise. Ages range from 6-10. In addition to “light” childcare we require the kids laundry to be done each week along with tidying / organizing of kids rooms and a bit of meal prep some days. (At some times you may have only one or no kids around). One of the families has a dog that would enjoy a walk in the afternoon. The other family has a cuddly cat. You must have a great sense of humour, enjoy organizing, and have some experience in the kitchen. We do not require you to drive, and both families are near transit routes and Lynn Valley Village.
