I'm enrolled at the University of Calgary studying Communications. I have lived in Calgary for over eighteen years so I have a good understanding of the city. With my experience coaching children, as well as working with them, I have gained a large insight in caring for a child. Through playing on many highly competitive sports teams, as well as volunteering my time coaching young girls, I have learned how to effectively work on a team, as well as step into a leadership role, in order to achieve a common goal. I have learned a strong work ethic through these experiences. With my educational, limited work and athletic experience, I have gained a solid basis to problem solving, a flexible attitude and working my hardest to accomplish the best out come possible. I have looked after children after obtaining my babysitting certification when I was fifteen. I have looked after children of all ages as well as varying amounts of children at one time. I have had five plus years experience babysitting. I've also coached multiple teams which has helped me learn to not only encourage children to be active, but also get to know them. I held a lot of responsibility being head coach in which I gained time management skills, organization and leadership.
