I would love to meet families who think of childcare as a profession and not "just" a job. I am a Social Service Worker graduate and child welfare is my area of focus. Working with families gives an opportunity to do what I love and enjoy and it gives the family a peace of mind knowing that their children are being taken care of by a professional, who will have their best interest at all times. Childcare should not be limited to taking children to the park, keeping them clean and feeding them meals. It is about teaching them life skills, helping them develop self esteem, respect, care and due diligence and ensuring their safety at all times. I have over 20 years experience working with newborn, infants, toddlers, pre-school, school age children and teenagers. I love working with children and my ideal family is one who think of a nanny/childcare provider as someone who is here to facilitate and make those busy, stressful days easier.
