In this I completed units teaching me many different ways to care for children under the age of 6, and gave me the certificate which allows me to work with children. Also this gave me over a months experience working with children and running a room in an Australian childcare facility. Doing this I completed duties such as supervising childrens play, coming up with fun, educational activities to run in the room, preparing snack for the children, keeping the room clean and in the younger rooms we were responsible to helping toilet and change children. I also worked in Before and After School Care for just over a year where I supervised young school aged children before and after school hours as well as on school holidays. Here I was responsible for making Breakfasts/afternoon snacks. Also for running homework help groups and activities. I have also tutored a 13 year old in Maths for a year.
