Nanny in Collingwood, Ontario

I was with a family for 10 years caring for two girls who I grew to love and care for very much. For this family I did what was called a split shift I would arrive early in the morning and prepare the girls lunches for school and than I would prepare breakfast and get the girls up for school and we would do the normal morning routine of choosing clothes, getting dressed, brushing hair, eating breakfast than brushing teeth. Than I would drive them to school. I would than go back and work around the house for 3 hours light house keeping, laundry, walking the dog, preparing a healthy dinner for the girls. I would than leave and have 4 hours to myself. Than I would go and pick the girls up from school and we would go home we would do homework, dinner and than I would bring them to there activities and I would stay and watch them and than bring them home. I was sometimes needed for overnight stays so I would than get the girls ready for bed which would be a normal bedtime routine, snack, teeth brushed and story time. I remember there Mother telling me she was only able to work away from home because she knew the girls were in very good caring hands. However I moved to Northern Ontario for 8 years but the girls continued to be apart of my life, they would come and visit me and spend holidays and vacation time with me over the years staying a week at a time and it was wonderful becoming part of a family The girls were 3 and 7 when I first started to care for them, when they were 15 and 20 and I was back in Mississauga and still very much involved with the family I still helped Mom out with the 15 year old every now and than driving her to school or to her activities or part-time job and with some house work and dinners as she is at times still very busy. I love children very much they are and have been my pride and joy now for many years I believe they have helped me stay young at heart but not only do I love children.....
