I am hard working, reliable, fun, caring and energetic. I am a great multi-tasker and can work well under pressure. I worked as a child care worker for school age and pre school children at the Cridge Centre for Familys for 1.5 yrs. This included program planning, indoor and outdoor activities, sports, swimming supervision, driving to and from field trips and pick up/drop off from school. I worked individually with a mildly autistic child and with many kids with ADHD I believe in getting kids outside and active as well as keeping their minds engaged and learning. This keeps kids interested and lowers chances of behavior difficulties. I am a good disciplinarian and lay the rules out at the beginning so the kids know when they have crossed the line. I believe in positive reinforcement so rewarding good behavior instead of granting attention to bad behavior.
