I am currently pursuing my studies in nursing at the University of Ottawa. I am looking for employment in an area that is closely related to my area of studies. I would enjoy working with families in providing child care or to anyone requiring basic personal care assistance. I am confident that the experience I have acquired through education (M.A., 2010; B.A., 2008) and through my previous work has enabled me with the skills and responsibilities for this role. These skills include organizing and scheduling, meal preparation, housekeeping, general help to elderly and disabled, running errands, as well as engaging clients in educational activities such as arts and crafts, music, sports, and museums. I am an enthusiastic, trustworthy, and responsible person, and I take great pleasure in care giving. I am a hard working individual and accept new challenges that result in positive outcomes. I have taught piano lessons, for over 8 years, to children between the ages of 4 and 12 as well as having worked for Music for Young Children, a music education program designed to teach small groups of children between 2 and 8 years of age and their parents.
