I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and a mother of two children. I have worked with children since I was a young teenager. I believe in providing loving, individualized care for each child that the parent can trust. The time spent together is meant to engage in learning, socialization, and skill development. Your child(ren) will be taught independence with nuturing care. Both outside and inside activies will be communicated to you and commmunity outtings planned to enrich the learning experience of your child(ren). Previously, I have worked as a Community Support Worker with adults who had mental disabilies. Primarily, I supported these individualities learn independent living skills in their own homes within their community. As well, I have extensive experience in early childhood education as a preschool teacher and as an educational assistant. More recently, I have begun to complete my doula training. I am also a mother and an aunt.
