I am a smart, hard working, outgoing, fun and energetic female looking for a fresh start after 11 years of retail experience, half of which were in management. I am interested in child and pet care, as well as housekeeping. I enjoy seeing how the little things in life seem so new and exciting to children and I am trying to take this same mentality with me as I make my way through this new chapter in my life. I am reliable and willing to work whatever hours are needed of me. I am coming up on one year of professional experience in child care but have babysat for my niece and nephews for years. Some tasks that I have completed this past year are as follows: after school pick up, light snacks when not preparing dinners, taking kids to practice or other after school activities, appointments- taking to and setting up, some AM drop offs, grocery shopping, light laundry and clean up, watering the garden and doing some organization around the house. I also helped raise my nephew in the absence of his parents as well as occasionally babysitting for my other nephews and niece. I have learned to use my strengths to help keep the home and kids on task and organized. I have also established a routine in which a child with ADHD has succeeded at home and in school. I keep communication open with busy parents so they know everything that\'s going on in their busy kids everyday lives or if there are any issues that need to be taken care of. I take initiative whenever possible, as well as pride in whatever I do. I have three nephews and one niece and have babysit all of them. I helped raise my nephew when his parents were absent from his life, for 5 years. I have one year of experience with two school aged children.
