Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am a family-oriented, empathic and friendly person. I love interacting with kids and love to listen what they have to say. As I love the outdoors, I love going for a walk and teaching them about ecology, plants and bugs. I worked as a nanny/caregiver to sets of twins! One of them was a special child with cerebral palsy who taught me lots about understanding life - of listening with your heart and enjoying blowing dandelion seeds. I love to hear about your kids stories as well. I first worked as a nanny with twin girls starting when they were 7 until they were 9. My duties includes dropping and picking them from school, preparing meals and playing. My second job as a nanny was looking after twin boys starting when they were 4 years old until 8 years old. One of the twins have cerebral palsy thus, I was deeply involved in helping and assisting him in his developmental challenges. I worked closely with his therapists which included a physical therapist, occupational therapists, speech and language therapist, and worked alonside his social workers and educators as well to ensure that some of his challenges were met. I learned how to fed, bathe and transport him using mobility assistive devices. I made sure too, that his brother\\\'s needs were equally meet and thus, I adhere to time schedules stricly to accomodate play times for him.
