Nanny in Delta, British Columbia

I am a career focused young woman with an incredibly strong maternal instinct. I am grateful for the professional success that my natural instincts have brought me (combined with my education and experience), but I miss the interactions that occur with children in a non work related environment. As a result, I am ideally looking to provide occasional childcare/babysitting for families who desire and/or require a highly trained and skilled caregiver. I have a full time career that pays my bills, so I am not relying on this as my income and am therefor not charging the rate that someone with my experience would typically charge. I am a 26-year-old young professional with a passion for infants, children and youth. I have been working with children from a very early age (including many years as a nanny) and I currently supervise a program that provides training, support and education to families all over the lower mainland. As is required in the social services field, I am consistently up to date on First Aid, CPR, criminal record checks, crisis prevention and intervention training and driving abstracts. In addition, I hold a degree in Psychology and have undergone specialized training in a vast array of infant, child and youth specific areas. I look forward to being a foster parent in the future and am currently interested in providing evening, weekend and overnight care for children in my neighborhood. I am particularly fond of working with infants but have a great love and appreciation for children of all ages.
