Nanny in London, Ontario

I am a 22 year old student, finishing my undergraduate degree in English and French this June. I plan to enroll in teacher's college at The University of Western Ontario. I have several volunteer experiences working with children (see above). As well as several babysitting jobs in the past. I have a genuine passion for working with children and this is why I have chosen to make a career out of it. I am dependable, social, outgoing, organized and bubbly. I never back down to a challenge and I am very goal oriented. I would love the opportunity to work with your children and get to know your family like they were my own. Thank you :) I currently volunteer 3 times a week at a Public School in a grade 1 classroom. This includes preparing lesson plans, working with different types of children and helping the teacher with odd jobs. I also volunteer once a week at an After School Program to promote children and literacy (ages 3-13). In the past I have volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club as a peer tutor/mentor (ages 6-16). I have been babysitting for several years (started when I was 13). I have younger siblings so I understand what kind of environment I'd be working in. Overall, I have a genuine passion for children and that is why I have chosen to make a career out of it as a teacher (attending teachers college in Sep 2012).
