Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi there, I am a recent Phytotherapy graduate from Pacific Rim College in Victoria. I just moved home here to Nova Scotia and am working on starting up my business. I am looking to find some part-time employment (maximum 2 days a week) while in the process of starting the business. I spent much of the time while I was at school as a part-time nanny and really enjoyed it. I enjoy time spent with children and the energy they bring to a day. I love nature and being outdoors and enjoy creating good, healthy food. These are things I like to share with the younger generations in a fun way. I also enjoy playing games and just having fun with kids. I am eager, energetic, friendly and fun but will make sure that order is maintained! I believe that teaching and interacting with adults is of great importance to children and will be happy to be a friend and mentor to older children, but also love babies and can enjoy all their growing, learning and experiencing as well. The main experience I have had with children have been as a part time nanny. I have done this for just over 2 years and have taken care of 1-4 children at a time. Their ages have ranged from 12 months to 6 years old. The other experience I have had with children relate to nature workshops through work and volunteering. In these situations I have been working with one other to care for and educate up to 15 children at a time.
