Hi, My name is Cindy and I have been looking after children since I was 12 years of age and I am now 53 years old. I do not have any children as my Mum died when I was 30 and my Dad was very sick and being the youngest of 6 children and not married it became my responsibility to look after my father which I did not have any issues at all as my parents raised me to the best of their ability and being the youngest with several years of age differences with my other siblings I spent a lot of time with my parents and my Mum and I were not only Mother and daughter but we were best friends and I suffered a huge loss when she passed away very suddenly at the age of 65. Anyways, I met a wonderful man at the age of 35 and was married at 36 and my husband was 42 both first marriages and no children. We planned on having our own family as I just love children and always wanted at least 4 but with my Dad being so sick off and on, my husband took care of my father instead until he passed away 10 years ago. At the age of 12, I started baby sitting for my family and their friends and it was always my summer job right up until I was 23 years of age and I still baby sit friends grandchildren and neighbour\'s twins. I use to work for a construction company for 10 years that had 2 children a son who was 10 when I started and a daughter who was 12 and every day I would take them to school and because their mother was a very busy person I would end up going to pick them up at lunch time and taking them to get lunch and return them back to school and pick them up after school and take them to any activities they attended and then back home again where if their parents were not home, I would make them dinner and get them ready for bed. Every March the parents would go to Florida for a month and the kids would go down for the March break and then fly back after the week. I would always move into their home to care for the 2 dogs they owned and then once the kids returned back from Florida I would look after them for the additional 3 weeks and we would do lots of fun activities and play games. Their homework always came first before anything. Because they were older, we would talk about what they wanted for dinner and I would take them grocery shopping with me and they would pick out a meal of their choice and then the rest of the meals we were going to have and on several occasions we would all work together to make our dinners and they would also help pitch in to sort the clothes and do the laundry and would help fold everything and then go and put everything away when it belonged. It was just an amazing time of my life and I loved those 2 people as if they were my own and I always bought them presents for any occasions and every time I went on a vacation I would always bring them something back from wherever I had gone and they always came to hug me and wish me well on my vacation and were right out to the office on my first morning back to hug me and tell me how much they missed me and anytime I worked late into the evening, the son would always cook something all by himself and bring it over for my dinner and I never once asked him to do that - and he always would sit in the office and play on the other computer until I was finished for the day before he would go home as he didn\'t like me in the office at night on my own. Also from the age of 12 being the youngest of 6 siblings and with huge age differences, my 3 brothers and 1 sister had children of their own and I always was the one who babysat them and no one else would they leave my nieces and nephews with. I have 8 nieces and nephews and now have 11 great nieces and nephews and now have 3 great great nieces and nephews and they all love their Aunt Cindy so very much and always want to come an dstay with me as we always do fun things and play games and go out and walk or play outside in the yard - whatever we did they enjoyed but they know they have to behave and not be rude and I have NEVER EVER ONCE EVER HIT ANY CHILD I HAVE EVER LOOKED AFTER - NOT ONCE as I believe you talk to them and explain things to them and I know some kids just keep trying your patience but that\'s the key - patience and understanding and try to show them what they did is wrong and how would they like it if someone did that to them - talking is the best!! If you were to pick me to watch your children or child, you would never regret it as I love children so very much and have so much fun just being around them and your children would be in the best of care as I would guard them as if they were my own and I would NEVER ABUSE THEM OR HARM THEM IN ANY WAY - NONE WHAT SO EVER AS THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS AND SO INNOCENT and I would take responsibility and make sure nothing ever happen to your children - NOTHING - if your child was out on the street and a car was coning - I would be the one hit by the car before your child as their safety always comes first and I swear from the bottom of my heart and sole - I would be the best sitter you have ever had and your children would be safe and very secure with me - YOU HAVE MY WORD - I PROMISE Thank you for your time and consideration of me to be the one to help you to look after your precious ones and keep them safe. Taking children to school, pick up and take to lunch and back to school or pick up after school and take home make dinner and bath and get ready for bed and eve put them to bed. I play with them and help keep them occupied and we draw, colour, play house or tea parties, have gone bicycling with them, walking, take them to their sports or activity programs - just about everything - I love children very much and enjoy being with them and watching them grow and change expressions - they are just amazing.
