Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi! I am a recent transplant from Toronto and I\'m excited to call Halifax my home. My experience includes 10 years as a camp counsellor and camp co-ordinator, where I planned programs that were a balance of games, crafts, sports, outdoor and nature activities, and songs and music. We also went on weekly field trips, swimming, and held campfires. As an instructor at Make Believe Fridays, I was responsible for drama programming and snack in this exciting afternoon for pre-schoolers. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience working with children, teens and adults with various intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. I worked in community, home, school and recreation program environments teaching life skills, helping with homework, and supporting people in their chosen activities.
