Hello! We are a family in need of an extra set of hands. We have two adorable little girls and we are looking for a fun loving, energetic individual. Key characteristics would be kind, honest, trustworthy, calm, reliable and creative. We work from home and one of us would likely be around, however we are looking for someone who can also provide a safe environment when we are not home. The ideal candidate will also take initiative and not require alot of supervision or hand holding. We are an easy going family, we embrace technology with our kids (in moderation), we do not do corner time or time outs, we encourage our children to come up with solutions for problems. We use distraction/redirection as management approaches. We do not follow strict schedules. Key duties would include: Playing with children, Encouraging imagination and creativity through play, crafts or singing and dancing Reading Books Encouraging children to count or learn abc\'s Cooking/Baking Playing Outdoors and or Supervising play Encouraging children to learn new activities, sports, yoga etc Encouraging children to tidy up after themselves Enforcing Manners, hand washing and hygiene Preparing snacks or lunch Additional Duties would include: Running Errands if time permits Light Housekeeping (if parents are home and children are independently playing) General tidying Additional notes: Candidate must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement. Candidate must be willing to have a criminal record check Candiate must have a valid passport as travel may be required CPR and First Aid Training is a bonus Early Childhood Education is a bonus Non-Smoker is a must Thank you and we hope to hear from you!
