I have completed my advanced diploma in Child and Youth Care at Humber college. I have 4 years of experience as a Child and Youth Worker where I worked with children, toddlers and teenagers. I undertook 3 weekly placements where I worked as a volunteer to provide special care to children between the age group of 4-6 and 11-14. I also spent time working as front line staff in a residence for teenagers with mental health issues. My experiences there were great and I did become familiar with the planning of the organizations that involved in providing childcare. I am able to plan activities and programs for all ages and learning levels. Most recently I worked as a Developmental Support Worker for older teens with exceptional developmental delays and disabilities. I have always had a passion for working with kids and youth, hence my career choice. I feel my enthusiasm and experience can make me a great asset to your home. I love working with children and youth and have a satisfaction that my duties in some way or the other helps in the development of our community.
