Hello! My name is Jade Choquette. I am a hard working university student. I am currently attending Ryerson University in my first year for Child and Youth Care. I love being with children and pets as well am comfortable working with children with special needs. I am able to multi task and follow rules and routines. I am creative and artistic and love finding new projects to do with children. I am every interested in photography and can play multiple instruments. Cooking and baking is a huge passion in my life, as well as eating healthy. I am available whenever needed! I have a current police check as well as my first aid and CPR training. I plan on working with kids for the rest of my life and look forward positively affecting the lives of others. Have an amazing day! - Jade Choquette I have recently joined the SACC with the YMCA over the past year, going in and out of schools offering extra aid to both the students and the staff. I have also worked as a Supply Staff at Peekaboo Day Care Centre working with children from 6 weeks old to children up to the age of 6 years old. Some of the duty's that were involved were changing children's dippers and clothing, putting children to bed, feeding and interacting with children as well as cleaning toys, utensils and rooms. I have also worked as Camp Councillor as a one to one worker with children with special needs. At this camp I did everything from working one on one with the campers as well as looking over them at night and supervising their medication and dietary needs. On top of working at the summer camp and daycare I also spent time baby sitting for two families. The duties included Cooking dinner, cleaning, ensuring all homework was completed, playing with children, reading books, putting children to bed and lastly packing lunches.
