Semi formal style residence with a home feel located at Royal York and Dundas, is seeking an experienced Nanny. Applicants must have previous experience working in such a home with hands on style of participation & organization for daily duties. Applicants should be comfortable with children of various ages including toddlers. Position Overview: Excellent housekeeping, cooking, house maintenance and time management skills, required to maintain the high standards & efficiency of this residence. Applicants must be comfortable and kind and comfortable with children. This is a part time position. Applicants should be flexible with schedules. Primary Responsibilities: Responsibility for childcare, providing a safe and nurturing environment. Responsible for housekeeping for care of interiors & finishes to maintain standards & organization of the household. Meal preparation for principals. Greeting of visitors and telephone messages. Applicant Qualities: Must have previous experience working in at least a semi-formal style of residence. Excellent housekeeping, laundress, cooking, house maintenance and time management skills. Must be patient and trustworthy, a nurturing role model for children. Cooking skills must include meal prep, menu plans and pantry management. Must be a self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities and follow through on projects. Applicants must be service oriented, pleasant with good communication skills. Applicants should have a neat and polished appearance. Must have a sense and respect of boundaries, exercise discretion, privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
