Nanny in Cobourg, Ontario

Hello! I am a 24 year old experienced child care worker looking for a part time babysitting position with a lovely family. I graduated from Ryerson University with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Disability Studies and am currently registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. From there I went on to Trent University and graduated last spring with a Bachelor of Education. I am currently a certified teacher working with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Over the years I have had lots of experience working with children from grade 6 all the way down to infants. Growing up I was the oldest cousin and spent many summers babysitting my younger cousins. I also worked with Community Connections summer camp for 4 summers my first two as a camp counselor and my last two as the Kinder Camp Director. From there I went on to work at one of the EDU Kids Child care centers as a supply ECE for three years. During this time I got the opportunity to work as the ECE in the Toddler room for one summer and the Preschool room for another summer. Throughout my schooling I have had many placements in child care centers and schools including a school in the Bahamas for students with Special Needs. I am a loving, caring, patient, happy, hard working and dedicated person. Working with children is my dream job; it is passion. Some of my passions and interests include playing ringette and soccer in adult leagues. I also love being outside and exploring nature. I don't have any children myself but I do have a little fur baby that I love so much (Bluetick Coonhound puppy) If you feel that I could be a good match for you family please send me a message!
