Family in mid-town Toronto seeking a caregiver for one, good-natured eleven year old boy. Job start date: Immediately Hours: 20-25 hours / week (11:00 am - 4:00 pm OR 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm) Terms of employment: Permanent, Part Time Work Setting: Employer's home Security and safety: Criminal record check Transportation/Travel Information: We are located close to transit, and public transportation is readily available Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Please DO NOT apply for this position if you are not located within Canada. Specific Skills: - Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents; - Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child; - Prepare and serve nutritious meals; - Supervise and care for child, and tend to child's emotional well-being of children; - Take child to and from school and to some appointments; and - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home Personal Suitability: Judgement, Organization, Reliability Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
