Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn. I'm 20 years old and I LOVE kids/babies. All my life I've been a "Mother-Hen" and took care of every one I knew. I was always protecting and nurturing kids and it's been my calling ever since. In High School I took a work experience course, and it taught me how to be patient, to be understanding, how to do first-aid, how to cook, how to clean, and how to administer time-outs, etc.. I was working with Kindergarten and grades 1&2. I even have a lot of experience with a few disabled children. Mostly Downs Syndrome, but I'm more than willing to work with other forms of mental and physical disabilities. It was a wonderful time. That was about two years. Prior to that I've had a lot of experience with children as young as 3 weeks to 10 years of age. When I taught karate I was teaching the "Little Dragons". That age group was between 4yrs and 7yrs. I was in the adult karate class myself, I was teaching myself; so I can teach the kids. Unfortunately I had to stop with karate, but I never stopped teaching kids. I'm currently a babysitter; I have three kids that I babysit often, but not as much as of late. Their ages are 4, 6, and 7. My dream as a nanny is to expand and work with children full time. The most kids I've ever worked with at once was 7 (not including High School). Every single child I looked after became more and more wonderful. They always wanted to help out with everything. I don't drive but I'm full experienced on transit, I can get about anywhere on the bus. I'm looking into a drivers license as I speak. I honestly think I'd be a great nanny, kids have been my passion for as long as I can remember.
